Cultural Marixsm, the Devil's Sledgehammer against the West

I'm still making an effort to keep up my reemphasis on the Christian life but as always happens I'm again distracted by other concerns.  In this case I'm focused on the undermining of western culture.

The video below is a really good condensed presentation of what Cultural Marxism is. The opening statement identifies it as the application of Critical Theory, the utterly diabolical thinking of the Frankfurt School who were so influential in the sixties, and makes it clear that it's intrinsic to today's Leftist politics.

It includes an explanation of why the epithet "Islamophobia" is Marxist, which is often not recognized,  I'm particularly glad to see it includes an expose of the utterly destructive work of Theodor Adorno, a member of the Frankfurt School who is usually not mentioned in this connection, but his attack on the basic principles of western civilization that made the west great, through his "sociological study" titled The Authoritarian Personality, has been very influential, and I believe it should be called satanic.

Political Correctness is the term for the popular tool of intimidation used by the Cultural Marxist Left to enforce this program of destruction of everything good, consisting of the epithets racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic and so on, intended to suppress all dissenting views.

I believe the west has come under these influences because we have abandoned Christianity and incurred God's judgment, but that's my view, not the video's.  It's high time we took back our universities and our institutions and threw the bums out, but if God doesn't grant us revival there's a limit to how far we can get with that.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Which should be celebrated as thanks to God for His bountiful providence, as it was by the Pilgrims.

Here are some earlier posts about that first Thanksgiving, true accounts along with the anti-American revisionist version the Cultural Marxists have foisted on our schools over the last few decades.

EUROPE: STOP THE SAPPY TEARS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I felt it myself but didn't quite have the nerve to say it. Then I saw it said at Front Page Magazine.

Yes, stop the grieving for the victims of the Brussels attack. The direct victims must grieve and be comforted, but everybody else: you should be ANGRY, you should be UP IN ARMS, you should be denouncing these murdering servants of the devil with every breath you take. Why are you shedding powerless tears and sending sweet sad condolences to Brussels when you should be declaring war on the enemies of Europe?

I know why and it's sadder than sad that you are the captives of the evil philosophies of Cultural Marxist Political Correctness.

And as I keep saying too:  I know it's because you hate the true God and this powerlessness is your due punishment.  This powerlessness that only feeds the ambitions of the jihadists.

WAKE UP!  WAKE UP! WAKE UP!

Oh Lord. wake up Your people to pray for them.

Gay Agenda a "high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God" and needs to be pulled down by a revived Church.

Watching America being destroyed from within keeps driving me back to revival as the only possible solution.  Which amounts to saying that God is the only possible help but He isn't answering prayers for revival these days, as I've noted before.  Either He's determined on judgment as the only righteous response to our condition, or we aren't meeting His conditions for revival.

I keep hoping the latter because that at least gives us the opportunity to ponder what conditions we aren't meeting and whether we could meet them.  The ones I listed in an earlier post are probably not the full list.  In fact I can hardly believe I left out the gay agenda, because there are churches that have capitulated to that too.  The nation is suffering from every kind of Political Correctness and the Gay Agenda is the latest and most aggressive version of it, but I've been thinking of the nation's ills as those the Church is to tackle after we've cleaned up our own act.  How can we rally against violations of the First Amendment freedom of religion when we're full of offenses against God within our own ranks?  Problem is all the ills of the nation are to be found in the churches as well.    We even have "gay churches."   And all churches that call themselves by the name of Christ need to be addressed by the Church at large, meaning denounced in many cases.  I don't know if God would give just a certain collection of repentant cleaned-up churches a revival but if the point is to turn back the evils in the nation, God's judgment on the nation, I don't know how far that would go anyway.  To be effective it would have to be contagious and change minds all over the country.  Genuine revivals do have that effect, but could it happen on the scale we need it to happen?

The main symptom of God's judgment is the ineffectiveness of the churches.  The Wimp Factor as I called it a while back, our inability to act.  Not only the churches but conservatives in general, witness Congress.  It was nice, sort of, to see some pastors in Houston confronting their anti-Constitutional major, and also nice that pastors and others responded to Mike Huckabee's call to send her sermons and Bibles.  Seems to show there's still a pulse in the Church.  But it's a pretty weak pulse.  The call wasn't even for sermons against homosexuality, but that's what has to be confronted by God's word.  I wonder how many were on that topic?  My guess is not many.   Because of the Wimp Factor.

Yes, we're afraid of the gay rights people.  They're a nasty aggressive bunch.  We don't like being called "haters" and "bigots" and "homophobes" which is the tactic of Political Correctness invented by Cultural Marxism aimed at bringing down America.  And they can get nastier than that under certain circumstances.   That's why I liked the idea of pastors across the nation committing to preach specifically against homosexuality in one voice in response to the mayor's move against the Church, for strength in numbers.  It's easier to preach on a controversial subject if you know you are backed by thousands of others.    I still wish something like that had occurred.  If the sermons they sent her were against homosexuality that would maybe have a similar effect but since there is silence on that subject I assume most of them weren't, maybe all.

Chris Pinto had a very interesting radio show recently, The American Founders on Homosexuality, which makes it clear that the founding of this country included a view of homosexuality as sin, and abominable sin at that.  That's the view of the Bible and whatever individual founders may have believed about traditional Christianity, most of them were steeped in the Bible and accepted its moral judgments.   Some of the original colonies had the death penalty for homosexual behavior.  George Washington had to dishonorably discharge a soldier for attempted sodomy.  There was certainly no attitude of tolerance toward homosexuality in those days, but a couple of centuries later we're now bullied into accepting it as a normal sexual preference.

For years we've been subjected to Gay Pride parades which are in themselves a disgusting display that is hard to tolerate, but even the police are required to support the event.  We watch all this happen and don't do much, just let it all roll over us.  Well, what CAN we do?

It's like we're bound and gagged.  If one person speaks up a dozen opponents shout him down with all the PC epithets.  And now if a Christian business refuses to fill an order for something that supports the gay agenda, particularly gay marriage, they are getting sued and fined.  This is a horrendous violation of the First Amendment, a horrendous miscarriage of justice, but it's like we're so used to the reversal of good an evil, or so stunned by it, or so afraid of being targeted ourselves, we let this evil triumph.

But again I'm taken back to the need for revival.  The main reason we're paralyzed has to be that we're deep in sin ourselves, as I've started to outline.  I'm adding tolerance of the gay agenda to this list now, and certainly eliminating churches from any call to revival that endorse homosexuality as a normal lifestyle, ordaining them as preachers and so on.   Also churches that allow women pastors need to be eliminated.  Revival only comes to a biblically pure church, I'm sure of that.  It usually starts with moving people to repentance, but these are huge offenses against God that don't need some special touch of the Holy Spirit to make us aware of them.

How many churches are free of all those offenses?  Well if you don't count my own concern about the Bible Versions and women not being required to cover our heads in church, there may be some that are free of such offenses.  Again, could we seek revival just for those churches?

If we don't have revival, if we don't have a waking up of the churches, if we don't get some boldness against the incredible accumulation of sins in America and the west we're just lost, absolutely lost, there is no hope.

Political Correctness, the Devil's Own Doctrine, is killing us all

I don't want to add to the hysteria about Ebola, but on the other hand there isn't much reassuring to be said either. We are in the hands of idiots, another name for people who subscribe to Political Correctness. This pernicious idiocy has been growing for decades and wreaking havoc in society on any number of issues, but who would have imagined it could wreak havoc at the level of giving free rein to a deadly communicable disease?

It's Political Correctness that has brought us officially legalized gay marriage, though not just gay marriage but the criminalization of those who consider gay marriage to be a violation of God's Law. This is an infringement of the First Amendment rights of those dissenters, but Political Correctness has no respect for our Constitution, Political Correctness rewrites our Constitution to support any number of bizarre objectives that no sane society ever even considered before. If a way can be found to identify some group as oppressed by the larger culture by being denied some practice or other, even if that practice threatens the wellbeing of the culture itself, as some "religious" practices do, and even if it's a group that is at best two percent of the population, that group can become the basis for denying First Amendment rights to anyone who opposes the mentality of that group, by calling that person racist or sexist or something like that, and punishing them with fines or other sanctions. But how many see the evil in this and protest it?

It is Political Correctness that has been perverting the American Constitution and most specifically the First Amendment, for decades now. We don't yet have Shariah law anywhere, but the idea is absurdly promoted by the Politically Correct, who simply have no idea what our Constitution is all about, or don't care. It's akin to the American Communist movement in the early part of the twentieth century, the first wave of idiots who had no idea what America is all about and absurdly believed that Marxism was a fairer system. Thus does the devil do his dirty work. By the sixties they had succeeded in eliminating American History and Institutions as a requirement from American Universities, and installing any number of Marx-infected professors who had an irrational hatred for America.

Multiculturalism is one of the idiotic tenets of Political Correctness. The American system of government that was once just about universally understood to be the best form of government ever invented, taken as a model for all nations everywhere, is now treated as nothing more than a mere accidentally developed culture that is equal to all other cultures, including third world cultures, cultures that abuse women and children and still practice slavery, you name it, all we have to offer any more is supposedly a white-man's preference and not a universal boon to humanity at all. We could maybe hope that this insanity would give way to reality eventually but for the fact that our system itself has been systematically undermined in the image of Political Correctness for a few decades now. All fueled by irrational Hatred of America.

The excuse for this is primarily the racism of the southern states that the nation labored under into the twentieth century, which simply became a tool in the hands of the anti-American wrecking crew. It's this hatred of America that is the root of all the PC tenets, and as a matter of fact we can trace Political Correctness to Marxism. There is some reason to think the buck doesn't stop there, however, as some of the influences on Marxism can be traced further back to the stealthy secretive work of the Jesuits, who did have a hand in the training of major Marxists and Communists, including Marx himself. And THEIR motive would be easy to fathom: America was once a major Protestant nation, like Britain, which has also been a favorite target of theirs. Ironically, however, the racism of the southern states can be found strongly represented among Roman Catholics. (Anybody remember that the South got into the Civil War on the encouragement of the Pope? Anybody remember that Gone With The Wind was about an Irish Catholic family?)

Racism isn't the only epithet in the PC arsenal to paralyze normal sane thought and action, but it is probably the main one. The reason we can't keep illegal aliens from crossing our southern border is that it's "racist" to object to it, and then they've perverted the meaning of the rule that anyone is American who is born in America to mean that any alien can have a baby here and be legitimized by that means, and the more children they have they more they outnumber the nativeborn citizens so that they can eventually displace us. Destructive insanity that is traceable back to Cultural Marxism, but pretty obviously to Roman Catholicism above all.

Perhaps the first manifesto against Political Correctness was The Origins of Political Correctness by William Lind.

Besides the article, you can hear him on the subject at You Tube, HERE as well. This presentation gives a complete history of the intellectual development of the concept in all its anti-American inspiration and ultimate success at destroying American culture.

Ben Carson is another one who has spoken out against Political Correctness as an evil ideology that threatens to destroy America, HERE, where his talk at the national prayer breakfast for Obama's second term inauguration is highlighted.

And here are some from Alex Jones:

19 Shocking Examples of How Political Correctness is Destroying America

And this kind of mind rot is why the west now has Ebola cases which could have been prevented if there was a normal intelligence running the show and preventing the movement of infected people from place to place until the disease is eradicated. You know, it's "racist" to cut off travel from infected Africa to the US. I pray God will have mercy and put the brakes on this insanity, but I don't have a lot of hope for it because it's His judgment on a sinful world, a world that has left Him behind and chosen an idiotic anti-morality to rule us. Of course it's the gradual decline into amorality, thanks to Political Correctness for starters, that has brought the west to this point where Political Correctness is even more virulent than ever. I'm afraid this is just part of the last days' nightmare that is coming on the Earth, and those who suffer the mind rot will just go on getting more rotten while the world collapses around them.

Come soon, Lord Jesus.
