o(F COURSE MANY OF US BELIEVE IN AN AFTERLIFE WITHOUT HAVING THE EXPERIENCE.  ccHRISTIANS KNOW IT BY FAITH ACCORDING TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE FOR INSTANCE.  wHAT IS SO FASCINATING ABOUT THESE ndeS TO MY MIND IS HOW THEY ACTIVELY CONTRADICT THE bIBLE'S TEACHING ON OUR DESTINY AFTER DEATH.  hELL AND JUDGMENT ARE SPECIFICALLY DENIED IN ALL THE ACCOUNTS OF ndeS i'VE SO FAR SEEN.  tHERE ARE THOUSANDS AS i UNDERSTAND IT AND i'VE ONLY SEEN MAYBE THIRTY OR SO BUT IT SEEMS TO BE ENOUGH TO RECOBNIZE A DEFINITE TREND.

aLTHOUGH THE ACCOUNTS VARY IN SOME RESPECTS THERE ARE SOME COMMONALITIES THAT ARE SHARED BY ALL i'VE SEEN, UNLESS i'M MISREMEMBERING.   fOR INSTANCE, WHATEVER THE NATURE OF THE PLACE THAT IS VISITED IT IS DESCRIBED AS FEELING LIKE hOME, A PLACE VERY FAMILIAR TO THE PERSON WHO IS SURE HE'S BEEN THERE BEFORE AND HAS NOW RETURNED AS TO HIS ORIGINALL HOME.   tHE EXPERIENCER DOESN'T WANT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE AND IS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO BE TOLD HE OR SHE MUST GO BACK.  tHERE IS IN ALL THE SITUATIONS i'VE HEARD SO FAR A STRONG FEELING OF WHAT THEY CALL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.   tHE SCENE MAY BE A LANDSCAPE OF BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE WITH BRIGHTLY COLORED FLOWERS.   THE PLACE IS EXPERIENCED WITH A VIVIDENESS THAT IS FAR MORE INTENSE THAN THIS PHYSICAL RELAITY.  mOST OF THEM SAY IT IS FAR MORE REAL THAN THIS WORLD.  tHERE ARE COORS THEY'VE NEVER SEEN IN THIS WORLD.  iT'S NOT ALWAYS A LNANDSCAPE ALTHOUGH THAT IS A COMMON ONE.  sOME EXPERIENC ETRAVELING IN SPACE AMONG THE STARS AND THEY ARE ALSO BRIGHTLY COLORED.  

oTHER BEINGS APPEAR IN MOST OF THEM THOUGH NOT AS MANY AS ONE MIGHT EXPEECT, A FEW FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, A TEACHER OR GUDIDE PERHAPS.  AND IN A FEW "gOD" IS THERE, AS A MAN, AND jESUS.  wHEN THE PERSON SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT HOW THEY'D EXPECTED JUDGMENT OR EVEN hELL AFTER DEATH THESE SUPPOSED gOD AND jESUS FIGURES ASSURE THEM THAT THEY HAVE IT WRONG, THATR THERE IS NOTHING BUT PERFECT ACCEPATANCE OF THEM.   tHEIR LIFE IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF LEARNING.  tHEY MAY HAVE A lIFE REVIEW IN WHICH SOME OF THEIR KIND DEEDS ARE SHOWN TO THEM AND SOME OF THEIR UNKIND DEEDS, BUT THEY ARE STRENUOUSLY ASSURED THAT THIS IS NOT FOR THE PURPOSE OF JUDGING, JUST FOR LEARNING, AND THEY ARE TO GO BACK TO THEIR EARTHLY LIFE AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT IT ALL.

aN EXPERINECE SO COMPELLING THEY ALL REPORT A COMPLETE LOSS OF FEAR OF FEATH, THEY ARE SO SURE THAT THIS SCENE IS WHERE THEY WILL GO WHEN THEY DIE.  nO hELL, NO JUDMGNET, JUST THIS WONDERFUL UNCONDITIONAL LIOVE IN A BEAUTIFUL SETTING.  

tHESE EXPERIENCES CONTRADICT ALL RELIGIOUS MORAL TEACHING BUT SEEM TO BOGO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO CONSTRACTICE cHRISTIANITY SPECIFICALLY.  wELL, "jESUS" IS OFTEN THERE, BUT i HAVEN'T RUN ACROSS ANY IN WHICH mOHAMMED OR bUDDHA OR sAI bABA OR jOSEPH sMITH WAS THERE.  iT SEEMS MOST IMPORTANT FOR THESE BEINGS TO PRESENT A FAKE jESUS, A jESUS WHO IS NOT AT ALL THE jESUS OF THE bIBLE, BUT APPARENTLY IS ABLE TO DECEIVE PEOPLE INTO THINKING HE IS, MOSTLY PEO9PLE WITH NO EXPERIENCE OF THE bIBLE i SUPPOSE.  

iF THERE IS A JESUS IN THE SCNEE HE IS A FAKE jESUS, AND OF COURSE gOD IS NOT A MAN, HE'S sPIRIT AND HE IS OMNIPRESNET NOT CONFINED TO ANY ONE PLACE.  tHESE SCENARIOS ARE APPARENTLY DESIGNED BY DEMONIC BEINGS TO DECEIVE THE HUMAN RACE INTO BELIEVING THAT THERE IS NO hELL OR JUDMGNET TO FEAR AFTER DEATH SO THAT THEY WILL NOT BE INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT ABOUT THE TRUE jESUS AND THE TRUE GOSPEL THAT COULD SAVE TGHEM FROM THE REAL JUDGMENT AND THE REAL hELL.  tHERE IS OF COURSE NOT A HINT OF AN IOTA OF A SCINTILLA OF THE TRUE GOSPEL IN ANY OF THESE STORIES, THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION BY THE DEATH OF cHRIST.  iF WE BELIEVE hE DIED FOR US, IN OUR PLACE, AND THAT OUR SINS ARE FOGIVEN BECAUSE OF hIS DEATH, THEN WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, BUT THOSE WITHOUT THIS BELIEF ARE DESTINED FOR hELL.   bUT ACCORDEINT TO THESE ndeS THERE IS NO REALSON TO FEAR SUCH A FATE.   tHEY'VE BEEN ENTICED BY BEATUFUL SCNERY AND BEAUTIFUL FEELINGS OUT OF ANY FEAR THAT MIGHT SAVE THEM.

New Death Experiences and Other Deceptions about the Afterlife

tHERE ARE TWO VERY INTERESTING VIDEOS AT yOU tUBE i VERY MUCH WANTED TO POST HERE BUT i'VE BEEN UNABLE TO SEE WELL ENOUGH TO COPY AND PASTE THE LINKS.  oNE IS A PANEL DISCUSSION BY SIX SCIENTIESTS ABOUT VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE QUESTION OF THE AFTERLIFE WHICH THEY EACH STUDY IN DIFFERENT WAYS.  tHE OTHER VIDEO IS A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE SAME SUBJCT THAT INCLUDES MANY INTERVIEWS WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD NEAR DEATHEXPERIENCES AS WELL AS A RESEARCHER INTO THE PHENOMENA.   That's the best I can do to identifyh them, I can't even read the titles  or the names involved or anything.  

Street interviews about what people believe about the afterlife show that a lot of people say they do, but it's the usual vague idea that everybody goes to heaven.  Even the few who identify as Christians and think there is both a heaven and a hell don't show any understanding of how we go to either plade, it's the usual idea that if you are good you go to heaven and if you are bad to hell.   

From my pretty standard orthodox Christian point of view this topic looks like huge deception that is very popular these days and it makes me wonder what the point is, why Satan is so interested in deceiving people in this particular way at this time.   Why does he want people to have these pretty pictures of the afterlife that make them fearless about death.  I'

For the researchers the question is simply whether or not there is an afterlife, since they are operating within the assumptions of science that the physical world is all there is and that death ends our existence.   As I listen to it, believing as I do tghat the Bible is the world of God, I just think how futile all this is since the Bible makes it very clear rthat we are not confined to this life, that there is a heaven and a hell, and people come back to life on many occasions in both the old and new testaments.

But they dismiss the bible as just one of many records of life after death, at best, and it doesn't figure at all in most conversations about these things.     We know there is an afterlife because the bible has revealed it to us.

And we know there are only two desginations after death, either heaven or hell, and that the only way anyone goes to heaven is by trusting in the sacrificie of Chrizt on the cross to pay for our sins.  the Bible is explicit that good deads wil not get anyone to heaven, that is repeated in many parts of the New Testament and implicit in the Old Testament references to the sacrificial sstem.   Nobody can go to heaven who is not absolutely pure and perfect and no human being comes close to that.  It is only through the gift of Jesus' sacrifice that we can be made fit for heaven.  Without that sacrifice and our fatih in it we go to Hell.  That's the default destination for all human beings since we are a fallen race, fallen meaning we inherit the disobedience of our first parents against God and add our own sins to that original sin.  

So all tthese near death experiences are lies, and the question becomes wny.  If all people are destined for Hell anyway, what is the point of adding this new layer of deception to lead people to expectg a benighn afterlife no matter how they've lived.  Qwell, actually, most who have such experiences do feel they have to become better people as a result and try to life a better life, doing more good deeds and so on.

B what is never even hinted atg in all these studies and experiences is the true gospel of Christ that requires us to believe in His death in order to be saved.   We need to be changed, born again, our spirit regenerated through our faith in Christ, and then we are fit for heaven, our sins covewred as we begin to learn to live tghat better life which can never be good enough for heaven or the prsence of God.  Not a whiff of that doctrine is ever heard in any of these researches.

I have to suppose this is all part of the preparation for the last days scenario in which the Antichrist will rule the world, part of the global religion that is to be part of his reign, part of the scenario of the perfect world according to Satan thnat he wants to bring about on this planet.  According to biblical prophecy it will be very short lived, lasting only a few short years before Jesus returns to rule and reign.

It must be very close.  The signs have been piling up over the last few years or decades.    Poor poor sad sinful human race.  They 

What the Bible makes clear throughout is the overarching omnipresence of the Moral Law of God, the fact that the universe is governed by that Moral Law, that we are all subject to it at every moment of our lives, that what happens in the world reflects its judgmenets, which are God's judgments, so that everything from hurricanes to earthquakes are to be understood as conseuences of sin or violations of the Moral Law.  The sad thing is that if we all acknowledged God and prayed all the time about everything the dire consequences of our violations of the Law would be powerfully mitigated, but because most of fallen humanity denies God those judgments are only going to increase as time goes on.  

The fact that people come back from their supposed trips to heaven with a desire to live a better life is at least a tacit acknowlegement of the Moral Law but otherwise it's completely ignored in all these discussions.  Those who talk about hell for the wrongdoers acknowlege it of course but still it isn't getting the recogniztion it actually warrants.

The Moral Law is the reason Jesus had to die for us.  Only He could obey it perfectly and that made Him the perfect substitute for us, to die on our place to pay for the sins we deserved His death for but couldn't ever atone for, so tht Hell is our only possible destination after death.  He fulfilled the Moral Law perfectly and imputed His own obedience to us, taking our disobedience onto Himself.  That's the only way it could have been done.  but of course not a hint of any of that comes into discussions of the afterlife by unbelievers.

aT THE VERY LEAST THERE ARE CERTAINLY MANY WHO ARE NOT cHRISTIANS WHO ARE DEMON IZED OR EVEN DEMON POSSESSED.  sINCE SCIENCE SO CALLED DOESN'T RECOGNIZE SUCH A THINKG WE CAN BE SURE MAN;Y CASES OF MENTALL ILLNESS AND CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR ARE MISDIAGNOSED.  i THINK i MENTIONED ON MY BLOG A FEW YEARS AGO THAT MY INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE CRIMES OF TED bUNDY CLEARLY SHOWED A DEMONIC PRESENCE, SOMETHING THAT WOULD COME OVER HIS FACE AT TIMES, SOMETHING THAT CAUSED ONE YOUNG WOMAN WHO WAS NO DOUBT ABOUT TO BECOME ONE OF HIS VICTIMES, TO FLEE BEFORE HE ENTICED HER INTO HIS CAR.  sOMETHING THAT ONE INVERVIEWER SAY SCOME OVER HIS FACE.  bUT ALSOO AN EVIL PRESENCE FELT BY A YOUNG WOMAN IN A DORM WHERE HE WAS IN HIDING BEFORE MURDERING TWO OF THE RESIDENTS, WHICH CAUSED HER TO SHUT AND LOCK THE DORR TO HER ROOM, AND THE SPOOKED BEHAVIOR OF THE CAT IN THAT SAME HOUSE WHICH HAD IT ALL BRISTLED OUT AND WALKING ON ITS TOES BEFORE IT BOLTED FROM THE HOUSE AS SOON AS THE DOOR WAS OPENED, THE NIHGT BEFORE THE MURDERS OCCURRED.  aLSO THE BEHAVIOR OF SOME DOGS WHEN HE WAS AROUND THEM.  aLL THAT SHOWED THAT HE WAS DEMON POSSDESSED.  bUT OF COURSE NONE OF THAT EVER GOT MENTIONED IN ANY OF THE ACCOUNTS.  wELL, THE EVIL PRESENCE WAS MENTIONED AND THE SPOOKED CAT AND THE LOOK ON HIS FACE, ALL WERFE MENTIONED WUT NOT THE OBVIOUS EXPLANATION THAT HE HAD A DEMON.

oF COURSE THERE IS NO POINT IN CASTING OUT DEMONS FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT cHRISTIANS BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU CAN DRIVE THEM AWAY THEY HAVE LEGAL GROUND TO RETURN, AS THEY DO NOT WITH A cHRISTIAN.  tgHE ONLY REMEDY IS FAITH IN cHRIST AND BEING BORN AGAIN.  bUT THE GENERAL DENIAL OF DEMONIC ACTIVITY GIVES THEM COVER AND PERMITS THEM TO PROLIFERATE IN SOCIETY.  

aNYWAY i HAVE AN UNPLEASANT REASON TO WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT DEMON ACTIVITY AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM AND i CAN'T FIND ANY REALLY TRUSTWORTHY INFORMATION ABOUT IT.

=======================================================================s is often necessary these days, I must apologize for the chaotic elements of this poswt.    At the bottom I'e collected three links that didn't copy cleanly bvecause I coudln't see exactly where i'd placed tthe sursort, so I don't know if it's even possible for someone wanting to check them out can make use of them.  Also they are on subjects rather far removed from each other although I think there is enough ofa commonj thread to make some sense of their being put together here.  Often I just want to colect a link to a topic I don't waant to loses because it's on a n iportant current issue, and there is a wide range of csuch topics.

TThe first link I posted here is the one of the talk about the transgender craziness that has so rapidly taken over in our political lif3e.  It's a comprehensive talk and I wanted to preserve it and perhaps make a whole post about it.  

But then I ran across the video about the man who had an experience of going to heaven and wanted to preserve that one too.   I ddin't get his name except for the first name James and a garbled version of the title of his book, something like An Unexpected Journey to Heaven.  I listened carefully to it because it was being highlighted by a podcast done by two men who call themselves Christians.  I know nothing about them but theyh apparently think many of the stories of heaven experiences are Christian in nature so I wanted to hear this one.  

Wrell, "Jesus" papp[ears ikn this story.   and at one point his robe falls away to show what the protagonist calls "the remains of the crucifixion" or something like that, without sayihng anything more about it than that so I har no idea what he means.   Jesus, the real JjeJesus who appearaed to the apostles after His resurrection showed them the nail prints on His hands and the gash in his side where the spear had pierced Him.  That gash is the only thing that might have been revealed by the falling away of His robe, the hand prints should have been visible already with the robe intact.  So I have no idea what is meant her

I'm sorry, I know a lot of this is very garbled, I just hope it's not beyond the ability of a reader to make out what I'm saying in spirte of it.

By the end of the man's story it was clear that the Jesus he was talking about was not the Jesus of the Cross who died for our sins, but a Jesus who wanted good works from him and from all of us, which is of course the primary teaching of all false religion.  Christians too are to do good works of coruse, but we are not able to do them except on the basis of believing the gospel of our slvation through the eath of Christ on the cross and being born again of the Holy Spirit.  Good works done on any other vasis are of no value.   What is lleft out of this man's story, as out of all such heaven stories and all false religion, is the gospel of alvation on which all true Chrsitians depend, the transofrming work that removes our sins and makes us fit for the Kingdom of God.  Without that, and the man who had this heaven experience is apparentlyh without it, we are not going to heaven, we are not saved.
